Donald Glover’s collaboration with adidas Originals was an all-white sneaker meant to be worn and distressed - a holder of experiences unique to each wearer. He brought this sneaker to life with a five part film vignette titled “Dirt On My Name” starring himself, Mo’Nique and skateboarder Na-Kel Smith.
I led the creative direction and global social/PR coverage for the collaboration launch and seeding event, working with photographer Gunnerstahl and director Anthony Pham to create an event recap film that mirrored the narrative of the film. We utilized AirDrop to tease the collaboration to event attendees.
